Oberbipp Castle with beautiful surroundings. The castle itself is privately owned and therefore cannot be visited. The Oberbipp municipality's coat of arms depicts three linden trees, one of which stands in a meadow away from the castle.

This is an unmarked trail and is not really a KS or VF as it only has a rope, a ladder and a few wires, the upper part is just a grade I (T3) scramble but coming down might be grade II (T4) with all the loose slippery rocks so not recommended in the wet. My guess is about 80m vertical more or less.

The Niederbipp Reformed Church, located outside the village at the southern foot of the Jura, dates back to a medieval church and received its current appearance in 1669 and 1712. During these years, the building was converted into a hall church with a gable roof and a polygonal choir. The front tower from 1518-21 is modeled on that of Oberbipp. The interior includes an elaborately carved Renaissance pulpit, a baptismal font from the 18th century and stained glass windows by Robert Giesbrecht from 1910. The view is a hit, you can see the whole of the Mittelland. It was Ascension Day, which is probably why so many mountain bikers were riding up the trail there. The descent is tough. It is steep. No problem for pedestrians. But you should watch out for the mountain bikers, there can be rush hour traffic.
