The history of these lakes is fascinating. It turns out they were formed by a landslide on the western slope of Chryszczata Mountain in 1907 after heavy rains! A natural dam formed on the Olchowata stream, and now there are the lakes. Today, it's beautiful, green, and very peaceful.

Chryszczata (997 m above sea level) is in the Wołosania range. The summit is forested, but there's a shelter with benches, which will certainly come in handy after a long hike, and it's also nice to sit in the shade on a sunny day. Beneath the summit is a World War I war cemetery.

Suliła is actually the unknown Bieszczady Mountains. You will probably be alone on the trail. Suliła belongs to the Crown of the Sanok Land. The peak itself is forested and there are no views from it, but the trail to it is very attractive.
