The Iglesia Nuestra Señora de la Granada in Guillena is a beautiful example of Mudejar architecture. It is a three-aisled church with a wooden ceiling (artesonado) and a deep apse with a closed arched vault in a rosette shape. The church was built in the 14th century and shows influences of the "master of 1356". Some interesting features are the neoclassical portals of the Epistle and the Gospel, and the alms that crown the apse from the outside. Inside the church is an 18th century retable in which the Titular, Nuestra Señora de la Granada, is placed. On the sides of the retable are sculptures of San Benito and Santa Rita, and below are statues of San Francisco de Paula and San Antonio de Padua.
