The sculpture in Vejle is the artwork „Mor og barn“ (Mother and Child) by the sculptor Robert Lund-Jensen. It belongs to the collection and the sculpture guide of the Vejle Art Museum. The sculpture depicts a woman with her child in natural, lush body shapes. It captures an intimate, caring moment full of harmony and peace. The work is reminiscent of the historical pictorial tradition of Mary with the Christ Child, but presents the motif in a very life-affirming and down-to-earth manner.

The "Löffelbrunnen" is a colloquial name for the distinctive fountain installation located directly on the Town Hall Square in Vejle. The modern, ground-level water fountain was designed as part of a comprehensive redesign of the square by artist Jesper Rasmussen in collaboration with Schønherr architects and officially inaugurated in the summer of 2021. The installation is integrated directly into the cobblestone pavement and consists of three parallel, curved water basins that gently extend across the square. Flat, playful water jets rise from the ground, offering a cooling backdrop, especially in summer, in front of the neo-Gothic Town Hall of Vejle. The square has a long history of fountains; as early as 1868, to mark the city's first central water supply, a historic fountain was erected in front of the then-town hall. https://www.visitvejle.de/vejle/reiseplanung/das-rathaus-von-vejle-gdk607929

Address: Jernbanegade 26, 7100 Vejle, Denmark The church is usually open to visitors during the day. There is a wheelchair-accessible entrance and corresponding parking spaces. The Town Hall is a striking, historic landmark in the center of Vejle. The current neo-Gothic brick building was constructed between 1878 and 1879 according to the designs of architect Carl Lendorf and later restored by the famous architect Martin Nyrop. The current structure is already the fourth town hall in the city's history. The very first town hall from 1460 stood on Gammel Torv and burned down in 1530. It is located on a historically significant site where a Dominican monastery stood in the Middle Ages. A special feature is the town hall bell, which rings daily. It is the same bell that, in the Middle Ages, called the monks of the monastery to mass. It bears a Latin inscription, translated as: "I call the living, I awaken the dead." On the first floor of the town hall is the city council's meeting room. Furthermore, due to its elegant halls and romantic ambiance, the building is an extremely popular venue for civil weddings. The building is located directly on the city's lively pedestrian zone on Town Hall Square. Directly in front of the main entrance is a flat, ground-level water fountain, which serves as a meeting point, especially in summer. https://www.visitvejle.de/vejle/reiseplanung/das-rathaus-von-vejle-gdk607929
