Always these descriptions. Unassuming from the outside. But. I am not a friend of superlatives, but it is truly beautiful here. It can hold its own with the fantastic churches in Nesselwang and Obergünzburg. Very varied with paintings, stucco on the gallery and on the ceiling with murals. Side altars, balconies and the Way of the Cross.

Gschnaidt Chapel: The smaller, older chapel dates back to the 18th century and stands directly next to the newer church. It is a place of quiet contemplation and part of the historic ensemble. It is currently being renovated and is currently empty. Holy Cross Pilgrimage Church: Built in 1856, it features a neo-Gothic design with a reticulated vault and 19th-century votive images. It was built to accommodate the growing number of pilgrims. Unfortunately, there is no lighting available here.

I wish you good weather, because you need it in the Allgäu. As you cycle toward Saiten, you'll come across a coveted bench.
