Highly recommended for a break. Good food and fresh drinks in the garden under the old chestnut trees.

The Alpine summer began with a leisurely hike. Beautiful alpine pasture and friendly staff, addressing the traditional "you" in the Alps. It was a Friday afternoon and surprisingly quiet. I treated myself to a delicious and creative snack platter; the spicy chili on the ham didn't really go down well. I'll definitely be back because this is a beautiful and quieter corner of the Allgäu.

Popular destination for families with small children (animals and playground). Magnificent view over Lake Niedersonthofen into the mountains. Good cakes and snacks.

Pay attention to the Mary. She looks at you no matter where you sit in the chapel.

There is a wide range of activities for the whole family on a spiritual basis. My daughter has already been to the MJF Schoenstatt girls' weekend or girls' holiday week several times. For those passing by: the cappuccino in the cafeteria is really good.

Father Josef Kentenich was the founder of the International Schoenstatt Movement. He visited Schoenstatt on the Mountain on September 7, 1966 and blessed the foundation stone for the chapel.
