"Menin sul fior del mondo" (Likely the flower of the world) is what they say around here, referring to the favorable location of this hamlet of Cesiomaggiore, nestled in the Belluno hills. In the center is a recently renovated square with the reconstruction of a beautiful fountain.

Not far from the center of Cesiomaggiore, in the province of Belluno, this bicycle museum is named after Toni Bevilacqua, Venetian pursuit world champion in 1950 and 1951. The museum is thanks to Sergio Sanvido, first cyclist and mechanic, restorer and then a bicycle dealer. It is open mainly on weekends: here you can consult opening hours https://www.comune.cesiomaggiore.bl.it/Territorio/LUOGHI-DELLA-CULTURA/Museo-Storico-della-Bicicletta-Toni-Bevilacqua.

The church of Sant'Agapito The small church dedicated to the homonymous saint rises at an altitude of 862 meters above sea level. and emerges from the surrounding landscape for its whiteness that stands out among the woods and rocks in all seasons. WHO WAS SAINT AGAPITO. "Agapitus died a martyr in Preneste (Palestrina). His Acts narrate that at the age of 15 he was brought before the governor Antiochus in Preneste. He refused to abjure and was whipped, imprisoned and beheaded. His sufferings are described with cruelty, with purpose both entertainment and teaching. His relics were transported near Tarquinia, where his cult is still rooted today, while in our province this is the only building dedicated to him." The small church has ancient origins, as evidenced by the lower part of the semicircular apse, characteristic of thirteenth-century local churches. The current building is the result of some extensions that were made around 1529 (date engraved on the bell) and 1728 (found at the height of the roofs). The interior is simple, but very elegant, characterized by a beautiful wrought iron gate and an inlaid colored marble altar.

Moderately steep climb, all pedaled by staying on the main road and ignoring the wooden sign that indicates on the right an access path to the church dedicated to hikers. Nice panorama framed by the opposite slopes of the valley.
