The locality of Pezzolo near Sale Marasino is a small rural nucleus located on the slopes of Punta Almana, along the 3V trail, between Portole and Croce di Pezzolo. 📍 Where exactly is Pezzolo (Sale Marasino) Pezzolo — often also referred to as Pezzuolo in local sources — is a tiny cluster of houses and huts located above Sale Marasino, on the slope that climbs towards: Portole Croce di Pezzolo (973 m) Punta Almana (1390 m) It is located at an altitude of about 800–820 m, immersed in the woods and meadows that characterize the eastern slope of Lake Iseo. It is reachable only by mule tracks and cemented mountain roads, not by ordinary roads.
