The construction site shows a newly built bridge over the A26. Large amounts of sand have been piled up on both sides of the bridge as ramps. This infrastructure measure serves to connect roads and motorways. A great cycling and hiking route runs along here amidst beautiful nature through the Buxtehude moors to Rüptke.

Today I rode the Flowtrail, the root path along the train tracks and the three small descents in Neukloster Forst. I really liked the route and can recommend it. Fallen trees, I could ride around or push the bike. The root path along the railway line is not "easy", on some sections I had to push my bike. A resting place is located by the lake, a very beautiful spot to linger and relax. After the lake, the root path also begins.

The historic swing bridge in Estebrügge (municipality of Jork) is a true maritime rarity. It connects the districts of Estebrügge and Moorende and is operated by volunteer bridgekeepers to allow ships passage on the Este. Source: Maritime Landschaft Unterelbe
