The tourist information office in Werlte also has an information flyer with a map of many of the stone tombs. Another great mill, and the renewed wooden parts of the small equipment in front of it show that people are actively involved in preserving the historical heritage.

A nice campsite! Located in the middle of nature, friendly staff, and well-maintained. The so-called "barrel" was not only incredibly cozy for me, but also the perfect garage for my bike ;-)

The Gallerieholländer windmill is lovingly maintained and cared for by an association. That's why you can admire it today in its original condition from 1881 - although it was badly damaged in the past. During the summer months it is open every Saturday morning and can be visited. You can find out more information and exact opening times here: http://www.heimatverein-werlte.de/kreutzmanns_muehle.htm.
