Gallin is first mentioned in Ratzeburger Zehntregister 1230 documented. Until 1403, the village was owned by the family von Züle, then changed the owners frequently. A first chapel was probably destroyed in the Lübeck feud in 1506. The half-timbered church standing today on a small hill was built at the beginning of the 16th century under the bishop Johannes von Parkentin from Ratzeburg (before 1450-1511). The small church with choir end from the octagon was consecrated to St. Anna. In the west gable a roof tower was integrated. In the belfry hangs a small bronze bell. The church is entered via the west portal pulled out by a wall template. Facilities include a Renaissance pulpit and a baroque altarpiece. The height of the churchyard is enclosed by a field stone wall. In the west stands in front of the churchyard the war memorial for the fallen of the First World War. The original name board has been replaced by a general commemorative plaque. At the eastern edge of the village is the cemetery of the community. In the center of the extensive area is a shapely modern mourning hall in the style of a Romanesque chapel. https://www.dorfkirchen-in-mv.de/content/Version_1/detail_gesamt.php?Reg_Nr=1503&bild=33075&wid=10960
