Beautiful, secluded location in the heart of the Tollense Valley, surrounded by farmland and meadows. I'm already looking forward to its completion and opening.

Broock Castle, once the social center of the region and the largest private stud farm in Western Pomerania, will be expanded into a supra-regional conference and cultural center in the coming years. Since May 2023, our guests will be served in the new village shop with café-bistro and beer garden.

Many castles and manor houses offer culture and tourist attractions, including Stellshagen, Bothmer, Plüschow, Dönkendorf, Lütgenhof and Gut Brook. Brook is located directly on the Baltic coast, on the Bay of Lübeck. The extensive manor complex is only 500 meters from the beach and is elevated in a rolling terminal moraine landscape. The estate, which is now very well maintained, with a manor house and numerous manor buildings, already shows the territorial proximity to Schleswig-Holstein, because the type of mighty building ensemble can be found in many estates in Holstein. Brook, along with many other estates, belonged to the county of Bothmer for a long time. In 1715, the Imperial Counts of Bothmer, originally from Hanover, founded a majorate county in the Klützer Winkel. As a result, they built Bothmer Castle near Klütz, which is the largest baroque castle complex in Mecklenburg. Gut Brook has been privately and ecologically managed for several years with the also former Bothmer estate Christinenfeld. A number of holiday apartments have been built and numerous cultural events take place at Brook. Nice place for a short break. You could park your car very close to the bridge and start and end your bike tour or hike there. (October 2024)

Pure nature, you are completely alone. The meadows are cultivated. It smells of summer.

A somewhat adventurous route, off the road between Gatschow and Ganschendorf. The pictures I took were very expensive 🫣 because there are myriads of mosquitoes 🦟 living here who thought "Hey guys, come here, there's something for lunch" 😄

I don't know if the description of the location of the highlight by "Martin🌳🚴‍♂️🌲🚶‍♂️⛰️" is correct 🤔 As far as I know, the Aalbude is located on Lake Kummerow near Verchen and is about 20 kilometers and a good hour away from this point in Hohenbrünzow if you were to go by bike. There is also an observation tower at the "Großer Rosin Moor" that would fit this description. In any case, there are neither flooded areas nor an observation tower to be found HERE 🤷‍♂️ But I'm happy to be proven wrong 😊 Addendum: I have since done my own research and visited the observation tower at the Aalbude. As described above, it is located at the northern end of Lake Kummerow and not in Hohenbrünzow 👋 https://www.komoot.de/highlight/6689393?ref=ahd
