The name for this highlight is actually incorrect. The building is the city's New Town Hall. It has been in use since 1818. The Old Town Hall is located on Nonnengasse at the foot of the Way of the Cross of the Seven Sorrows and is comparatively inconspicuous. There are corresponding boards on both town halls.
