Here, in the heart of Satteins, stands a small but imposing chapel dedicated to Saint Sebastian. Its construction dates back to a vow made by the local residents after a plague epidemic. It is unknown exactly when the chapel was built, but it is known that it was consecrated to Saint Sebastian and Rochus in July 1508 by the then auxiliary bishop of Chur. Unfortunately, the chapel was closed today, and one could only glimpse the interior through a window. Detailed information about this small chapel, located in the heart of Satteins, can be found at https://www.pfarre-satteins.at/pfarre/8260/informationen/pfarrekirchenpfarrsaal/kirche&ts=1755635144062. Overall, a small but striking building with an interesting interior – well worth seeing.

As a memorial to the many dead, such memorials or war memorials are still very important today. "Now, Lord, let your servant go in peace, as you said." However, the people who are commemorated here did not divorce in peace, but became victims of war and tyranny. Many of the places and monuments that you come across along the way are evidence of the horrors of war and tyranny, which is still relevant and relevant today. They all have two main functions: -1- Commemorate and remember the victims -2- Remind to keep the peace
