A large, very beautiful market square with the town hall as its central focal point. On the left (looking towards the town hall) is the Kepler Monument, and just behind it is the City Museum. On the right is the tourist information office.

Nice forest path, but you have to take the gradient into account, no matter which direction.

The work on the SCULPTOURA is one of the so-called ring frames, which are used individually as horizontal discs with a central slot, or as here as a stele made up of three such discs placed one on top of the other. The title reveals that these are vertical walls. The idea of the column, which usually grows upwards in a round or square shape, is thus combined with architectural components that are identified as walls. The "Ventes Verticales" do not stand on top of each other in a single plane, but are each rotated. In this way, Markus Strieder suggests a lightness that the solid steel cannot fulfill, but the artist's imagination can.

The house is Werner Pokorny's characteristic symbol, which he presents here in a variety of forms with a monumental tower. The largest element of the layered sculpture is a high archway; one could also imagine a Gothic window. Above this are two steel bodies, each with an inscribed semicircular opening, which are not placed on top of each other so that the resulting circle can be understood. The ensemble is crowned by a formally reduced house with a pointed roof and doorway. The silhouette of the tower alone is impressively integrated into the landscape - as one of the most famous sculptors of our time, there are countless large sculptures in public spaces, which are predestined for the symbolic power of this oeuvre.
