The Kollmar & Jourdan-Haus is a listed former factory building of Kollmar & Jourdan AG in the Südweststadt district of Pforzheim. It houses the Technical Museum of the local jewelry and watch industry, the Pforzheim Galerie, and the Carlo Schmid School Pforzheim of the Internationaler Bund. The factory building was constructed between 1901 and 1910 according to plans by the architectural firm Hermann Walder and housed a jewelry and bijouterie manufactory until 1977. A special Art Nouveau feature is the street-facing side of the building, clad in colorful glazed facing bricks. The unusual color scheme features light green wall surfaces interrupted by pale white and brownish tones. The corner building at Bleichstraße and Hans-Meid-Straße was built in 1922 according to plans by the architectural firm Hermann Walder as an office building for Kollmar Jourdan. On Bleichstraße, five figurative relief busts in allegorical form represent the five continents: Africa, Australia with kangaroo, Europe, Asia, America – each identified by popular jewelry.

On a hot day, having a cool drink or an ice cream here is great. The icing on the cake - apart from the ice cream - was the live music in the beer garden today on Whit Sunday.

Numerous exhibits spanning five millennia. Housed in the Reuchlinhaus, an interesting building in the city park, constructed in 1961. It consists of four cubic structures. Besides the art museum, only the art association is currently located there. Previously, it also housed a library, a local history museum, and the city archives.
