The Pforzheim-Weißenstein railway station, built in 1874, is a historical peculiarity: it was built by the Royal Württemberg State Railways on Baden territory. After years of decay and the status of a burnt ruin, the building was restored by the Eisenbahnfreunde Pforzheim (Pforzheim Railway Friends) from 1988 onwards in a manner appropriate to its listed status and today houses a museum worth seeing on railway history.

Small waterfall on the edge of the bank path near the stone bridge. The water running over mossy stones is a popular photo motif.

A single-lane bridge with traffic lights. Pedestrians walk parallel to the bridge. Great view of the Nagold River and the old rectory. The bridge's eye-catcher.

The waterfall has seen better days. Currently, it's just trickling.

It's always a bit cooler in the Würm valley than up on the mountain; a beautiful, almost level route.
