The Murg cascades are a beautiful photo motif. The planned waterworks are still in the planning stage and are being controversially discussed locally.

A narrow but well-paved path with great views over the Murgfelsen. Road noise is present initially, but later it becomes more peaceful.

The hall church was built in 1904-06 based on a design by Johannes Schroth. The interior of the nave is covered with a net vault made of prestressed concrete. The church furnishings include the high altar from 1906 and the Mary altar from 1917, which were made by the Moroder brothers. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Jodocus_(Ottenau)

Currently (26.12.24) there is a large tree trunk on the path that you have to climb over, which is difficult for people who are not completely free from heights (like me) because of the steep slope next to the path 😅
