Picturesque spot by the small stream

The two benches are situated on a slight rise. So far, I'm still fit enough that I don't really need a break there... maybe in 20 years. Nevertheless, I've lingered here a few times, as the cross on the opposite side of the path has always prompted me to pause for a moment. All the photos added by the many other visitors to this spot also tell the eventful story of my home forest over the past few years. Thank you so much for that! 💞

At first glance, the path appears to be very narrow, but it's still easy to walk. In case of rain, it's best to wear sturdy shoes.

Better listen to the sign, or the devil will come for you. It's not a fun undertaking, and it can make many a hike unpleasant.

On this path between the two ground gates, we saw several wild boars in mid-August. Both young and adult. We've been hiking for 10 years and have never encountered one before. It's not a problem per se, but you might want to be cautious during the breeding season. Just a friendly reminder...
