The idyllic shepherd's farm was built according to a historical model, with a large sheepfold for the typical heathland sheep - the Heidschnucke. The flock of sheep is usually driven to the farm around 5:30 p.m. from May to October.

It's hard to believe, but the Stichter Lake was formed by wind blowing during the Weichselian glaciation. You can swim or ice skate on the north bank, the rest of the lake is dedicated to nature conservation.

Friedrich Toedter's rock garden, with its boulders that were "pushed" naturally from Scandinavia during the Ice Age 😊 is quite nice. The stone is on the way to the "Schäferhof, an old farmstead"

And again look for a hut for protection. I wanted to get involved too. Komoot should finally treat these like sights and set them up in OSM. Similar to “tumuli” 😂 Cranes are calling for courtship somewhere in the moor 👍 From here the path leads to Riensheide and Sägenmoor. If you look in the cardinal directions do you see? Nothing, except forest 🙉🙈🙊
