This is a Bismarck tower in a lighthouse-like shape, located in a beautiful park with fragrant rose bushes. Absolute recommendation!

Where the Tönnigsberg bends to the southeast, with Börnecke just beyond it, at the very tip of Langenstein, there stands an inconspicuously small monument. The Tönnigsstein, known to hardly anyone, where shepherds repeatedly quarreled, fought, and suffered. Then the climax was approaching: Two shepherds approached with sheep. And each of them believed he was in the right that day, and neither gave in. In the end, one of them remained lying there. The small memorial stone is meant to tell us: Here, once (in 1537), a shepherd was murdered. The meadows of yesteryear are no longer there; hardly anyone knows what happened back then. And now the question arises: What is truth and what is legend? Source: Display board

The Heidberge Mountains lie between Quedlinburg and Harsleben. They still contain the remains of the old Heidberg watchtower, part of the watchtower system used to defend Quedlinburg. In the foreground, you can see solar panels installed on a closed garbage dump. This dump was located in an old clay pit, from which building materials for Harsleben were also extracted. The former administration building, which served both the clay pit and the garbage dump, is now called the "Yellowhouse" and serves as a home for the horizontal trade.
