The Monastery of Our Lady of the Rosary is the youngest of the three Dominican contemplative monasteries in Poland. The idea of establishing a new foundation was born among the nuns of the monastery in Święta Anna near Częstochowa, when the size of the community exceeded the housing capacity of the local building. The land for the construction of the new monastery in Radonie – approx. 40 km. south-west of Warsaw – was donated in 1989 by Mrs. Otylia Ranc, herself of the Evangelical-Augsburg faith. Construction began in 1990 and was completed in 2005.

Biographers of the great composer from the national institute named after him have established that Chopin probably spent his holidays in the countryside in the years 1820-23. These were mainly short family visits to Żelazowa Wola. At that time, he was invited by the Marylskis, parents of his older colleague, Eustachy Marylski, to their estate in Książenice.

In the 16th century, Ojrzanów belonged to the Ojrzanowski family, including Jan Ojrzanowski in 1526. Later, the owner was Piotr Goryński. In the second half of the 16th century, the estate belonged to the Miński family, and in the 17th century to the Zarembas. At the beginning of the 19th century, the owners of Ojrzanów were the Strażowie family. From 1834, the estate was managed by the Stadnicki family. In the 20th century, the estate was owned by the Dziewulski family. The palace located in Ojrzanów was probably built in the late 19th century by Władysław Marconi. It is a classicist, single-storey building with a two-storey central part in both elevations, which is topped with a triangular pediment and preceded from the front by a porch with four thin columns supporting a balcony. The edges of the axis of the front elevation are slightly revitalized and rusticated. The palace is covered with a low hipped roof. The decorative element is the numerous chimneys growing in different parts of the roof.
