If you follow the Rameheiveien from Øyvoll, you can reach a beautiful viewpoint with a bench and map by bike or on foot. From there you have a great view over the fjords between Farsund and Øyvoll.

From Heiastrand/Bjørnestadveien, a well-maintained hiking trail leads 2.5 km up to Heiabakken/Nørskãr. From there, you can enjoy the view of Farsund, the fjords and the North Sea. You can then continue hiking in different directions or take a leisurely walk back.

Unfortunately, part of the route leads along a country road without a sidewalk. We turned around because it wasn't entirely safe with the volume of traffic :(

July 9, 2022, Farsund Marina

In the summer, Farsund's keeper (Norway's only keeper) welcomes tourists to the quay with fresh bread rolls just in time for their morning coffee. In addition to water and electricity for the boats, the marina also has toilets, showers and a washing machine/dryer. Farsund Marina has been voted Norway's best marina several times. With beautiful mountains in the background, old houses, flowers and great atmosphere, this is the right mooring for your boat.
