March 7, 2025, St Faith’s and St Tyfei’s Church

St Faith’s & St Tyfei’s Church is an impressive sight in Lamphey. Constructed from limestone rubble, the building is Grade-II listed and it's thought there's been a church here since medieval times.

This is a lovely pub with great views towards the coast from its gardens. It was originally built in 1912 as the grotto country pub. Expect a great range of drinks and super pub nosh!

I love @Julian’s tip, above, of seeing spider crabs snorkelling around low tide! A wonderful thought :-)

This is one (of many) of places on the West Wales coast to get up close and personal with some really impressive geology. With a bit of observation and explanation, vast geological events are revealed. The word ‘awesome’ is often over-done, but not in this instance.

Great variety. The lily ponds, lovely beaches, a coffee/ food stop and lots of cliff top walking.

If you're heading from the village, this cliff top viewpoint is wheelchair accessible. At the viewpoint is an interpretation panel, bench and picnic table, with fine views overlooking the bay.
