You can drive down the street to the shore/taxi boat - it goes down steeply... and on the way back up again, correspondingly steeply 😊

On the road leading from Veli Lošinj to Mali Lošinj there is a wonderful view of Vale Škura Bay. The path leading below the road along the bay is made of concrete elements, intended primarily for pedestrians and due to its narrow width also more intended for them, but it is also open to cyclists. Coming from Mali Lošinj, this trail starts at the south-eastern end of the town, right at the roundabout at the end of Veloselska cesta. The trail leads first to Uvala (bay) Valdarka (Beach Valdarke). At the said roundabout there is a sign pointing to the cycle path. On the outward journey from Mali Lošinj to Veli Lošinj, we were tempted to descend along this path. Actually, the verb "drive" is not appropriate, because on the narrow and steep serpentine path, pushing is more the order of the day. After 400 meters on the Valdarka ulica it was finally over (on April 30, 2022) due to a construction site and we had to torment ourselves with the pedelecs on the worst gravel path back up to the connecting road. On the way back from Veli Lošinj to Mali Lošinj, we stayed on the relatively well-developed local road and were able to take this picture from there.
