During the GDR era, a wooden shelter for hikers was built in the middle of the castle grounds on the castle hill (Lindenberg). The hut was replaced by a new wooden shelter after 1990. A hiking trail climbs the mountainside directly on the slope of the castle hill. It also branches off into the castle grounds. Source: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rudelsburg_(Ru%C3%9Fdorf)

The so-called tea house at Nöbdenitzer Teich is a replica of the historical original. It used to be in the private garden of the manor owners. On the occasion of the Federal Garden Show in 2007, the Nöbdenitz local beautification association rebuilt the historic tea house between the ponds after over 60 years. Today the tea house is a popular rest and picnic area right on the Sprotte adventure trail. From here you have a wonderful view of the pond with island, the former Nöbdenitz moated castle and the church in the background. A really beautiful, large & new log cabin was built here. People like to stop here to take a break or to shelter from a rain shower. There is also a nice place to sit in front of the hut to take a break. I hope it stays this beautiful for a long time. 🙏🏻
