The sales cart is not a random stand, but has been officially approved as special use by the responsible district office. The operators pay a special use fee of 2,560 euros annually to the city for this. The revenue flows into the public coffers and thus indirectly contributes to the maintenance of the area around Bramfelder See. The Bramfelder See is ideal for all kinds of sports. With a gravel bike, you can use it on the route to the city center to avoid asphalt and traffic. Depending on the season, the kiosk offers ice cream, crepes, mulled wine, or bratwurst.

Along the Bramfelder See you can drive towards the city center if you come from Bramfeld. Alternatively, you can go through the cemetery. I also like to include a circumnavigation in a nice tour. As always, very busy during peak hours. A good meeting point is the kiosk at the main cemetery entrance in Bramfeld.

I passed by there on my "Hamburg Energy Networks" tour on August 18, 2025. Driving from the Pinneberg district to work in Hamburg-Bramfeld was and still is a great experience. I drove mostly through countryside. I missed the mausoleum.
