And every bench in the park is a "highlight". Wow...

The artificially created Deckstein Pond is located in the Lindenthal district and was built in the 19th century as part of the park design surrounding Villa Deckstein. Later, the area was opened to the public. I particularly like the chestnut avenue. When I'm there alone, I like to take the opportunity to pause and soak in the special atmosphere of this place.

Not chestnut trees, but plane trees. In any case, magnificent giants.

A small, rocky section of the greenbelt. In spring, it also boasts some beautiful wildflowers.

There are more than enough benches around the lake. Many are in the sun, but there are also a few shady spots.

The bridge serves as a shortcut if we don't have time to walk all the way around the pond. It offers beautiful views of the water on both sides.

The age of the chestnut trees on this avenue is always impressive. I wonder what they've seen.
