After the municipal reform, Bierlingen became the administrative seat and thus the municipal center. After the previous Bierlingen town hall was initially continued to be used, a new, larger town hall could be built in 1986/87. As part of the redevelopment of the town center, the Kelhof next to the town hall was also redesigned and now shows a modern artistic interpretation of the young municipality: the stone sculptures, consisting of a shepherd with five sheep by two rivers, symbolize the five districts and their location on the Starzel and Eyach rivers.

Good view over the Neckar valley towards Weitenburg Castle. When looking west, the Neckartal bridge can also be seen.

When looking up from the hiking trail during the vegetation-free period, you can see some remains of walls. The castle was quite large and probably had a bailey and two neck ditches.

In the Börstingen cemetery, you can find the graves of the Barons and Baronesses Raßler von Gamerschwang. They reside at Weitenburg Castle. Also located in the cemetery is a beautifully designed war memorial and a chapel, which contains more graves of the Raßler von Gamerschwang family.

I discovered by chance that a Stations of the Cross runs along the edge of the forest, which also features some truly beautiful relief paintings! It's worth noting that there's a small parking lot at the beginning and a bench every few stops along the way!
