The Marienkapelle in Tattendorf (Lower Austria) is a historic former pilgrimage site. Originally built in 1682 on an oak tree, it was rebuilt in its current form in 1903 after numerous destructions by Turkish wars and fires.

Be careful when crossing the bridge. At the northwest end, visibility is poor on the crossing footpath and cycle path. Cyclists often go too fast there. Those coming from the bridge are at risk.
