The Walloons' homeland was known for the production of high-quality cloth. The religious refugees brought their process expertise to Lambrecht in 1565 and quickly established production facilities to practice their craft again, thus creating a new foundation for their livelihood. Their denominational community spirit and industriousness led to the founding of the first cooperatively operated fulling mill, "Follerie au Pont," in 1570. With 32 shareholders, it was an important center of Lambrecht's cloth-making life. Source (quoted verbatim): Information panel 7 of the audio tour "Saladin and the Cloth Makers" (directly on the Speyerbach stream) This fulling mill operated until 1887 and was demolished in 1929.

The name is apt because it reflects an aphorism by Friedrich Schiller. This is another discovery by Klaus Liebrich, the cultural officer of the local branch and district path warden for the Mittelhaardt region in the main branch of the Palatinate Forest Association. The small rock slab lies about 50 meters from the Devil's Rock at a bend in the zigzag path leading there. Although the surface, like all the stones lying around there, was completely covered in moss, it revealed letter by letter when scratched. Together with Klaus Biegel, he then completely washed the surface clean and labeled it. They found the author of the text online, but not the designer. He left his initials AW (or HW?), but what was his full name, and when did he carve the inscription? Oh, blessed is he for whom from the echo of golden days consolation blooms for the present Friedrich Schiller

The Luhrbach stream flows into the Speyerbach in the center of Lambrecht. This fountain is beautifully decorated for Easter.
