At this point, you have a good view of the runway of the Klausheide airfield. Both gliders and motorized light aircraft take off and land here. So there is plenty to watch during an extended break. The shelter is slightly elevated and can be reached via a small path (see photos).

Flights are offered over the county of Bentheim and southern Emsland. I have already experienced a sightseeing flight and can only recommend it. But you shouldn't be afraid of flying or have any nausea.
