Temporary trail closure: between December 2023 and the summer of 2024 some trails on the west side of the park are closed for forestry management. You can read more details on which trails are under management here: https://www.jeffco.us/980/Alderfer-Three-Sisters-Park.

There is a great network of popular running, hiking, and mountain biking trails here in the park with a mix of options for different difficulty levels. There are restrooms and plenty of parking at the trailhead.

There is a fairly easy loop that goes around Evergreen Lake. On the south side the trail is a bit narrower, but it is shaded in the trees with a very cool wood platform to cross over.
