The park has a great variety of trails, between relatively flat and easy meadow paths to switchbacks up Bergen Peak through the forest. The trails also drain quite well and tend to not be too muddy after rain. The parking lot usually fills up by around 10 in the morning so arrive early!

The trails through the meadow are beautiful and offer fantastic views out toward Bergen Peak. There is full sun on most of the trails, but here you get a nice shaded patch from which to enjoy the views.

The trails in Dedisse Park are a combination of wide dirt roads and winding singletrack through the pines. There is a parking lot just north of the picnic shelter as you head up the main road. This is a good option if you are looking to add some vert to your run after exploring around Evergreen Lake. You get nice views from the top of the trail system.
