A very nice rest area right on the lakeshore with a view of the water. There is also a picnic table.

A Wide Range of Hiking and Walking TrailsThe forest area of Lassalyckan Recreation Centre is a considerable size and offers a wide variety of trails and hikes. A lot of the forest hiking will be on trails or paths suitable for mountain bikes as well as hiking, so you need to have your wits about you. The trails run through a beautiful forest environment and are well marked. Most of the trails start and end at the recreation centre, which is only a ten-minute walk from the bus stop at Simhallen.

It's amazing how the old railway has been preserved while being transformed into this cycle path. Riding along this path with its tunnel, you can feel like a train traveling through the hill.

In the late 19th century, the mill increasingly switched to logging, sawmill operations and coal production. The mill came into the ownership of the Sagers family in 1827.

Nice little rest area right on the beautiful forest path and far away from the road. There is firewood for the barbecue in a small cave and delicious blueberries grow on the hill. Simply beautiful.
