For when you want to feel healthy, cheerful wetness: Family swimming pool, uniquely situated in the forest. Lovely to take a refreshing dip. The swimming water is heated to 21 °C, or a bit more. The solar collectors contribute to this. Which is very nice; little chlorine in the purified spring water. Relaxed sunbathing after swimming, or find a shady spot. Yes, the blue chair makes it extra comfortable for me. Super cozy for young and old. Playground equipment and a football field. Small shop for snacks. A real butcher's meatball😋 for 2.50 or a large sausage roll. Worth it to satisfy the tasty cravings. Open in May-August. Sometimes a bit earlier in April, and also a bit longer in September when the weather is super nice. 23-04-2025 to 6-09-2025. See you soon, in the swimming pool!

A beautiful restaurant located in the woods. Outside on the terrace in the summer or cozy inside. Simply good and pleasant. Just like the menu, something for everyone at any time of the day, except on Sundays. Plenty of cycling routes over the beautiful Veluwe. Walking routes to Pinetum de Dennenhorst (coniferous forest garden 6 hectares), lookout tower de Koepel, or the center of the Netherlands. Varied forest, heath, hills and flat. Pure enjoyment. Enjoy the summer in the adjacent Bosbad.

Beautiful varied landscape with differences in height. Walking only suitable if you are good on your feet; most of the walk is loose sand and the paths go up and down.

In terms of scenery, it offers everything that the Hoge Veluwe has to offer (some of it even more beautiful), but in a smaller area and with no admission charge - perfect for a lovely walk at any time of year.

Medieval farmland and a Hessenweg, an ancient sandy trade route, remnants of the industrialization of the 19th century. 🎨📸🤗A wonderful panoramic view from the top of the observation tower, where a hut once stood.
