The farm shop sells its own produce, supplemented with purchases from the region. Potatoes and eggs are usually good, asparagus often (but not always) too; unfortunately, the quality of the cherries varies considerably. The jam selection is worth checking out; the cheese is also good, but the selection is rather bland.

The photos show the complete station, built and opened in 1901/1902. Yes, yes, I remember, in the early 1970s, when you could still buy train tickets there. As a child, I was allowed to go to Arnhem. My grandmother, looking after her glasses... had something tasty to eat, and I was also allowed to pick out something funny in the joke shop. For me, that was a world trip even at a young age. Even though Zoutelande was a bit further away on holiday. The station later closed... Lunteren fought to preserve the station... otherwise, it would have been demolished. For many years, it housed an art gallery owned by the Landman family: Galerie aan de kippenlijn (Gallery on the Chicken Line). Now, it houses several modern businesses. It's a relief for Lunteren residents that the station still serves as a train station.
