This bridge is now closed to all with no way of crossing because of high fences. It will be closed for at least another year. Quite a pain for us in Barnard Castle as this is the best and quietest way to go east

Great place to stop for a break when out cycling. Richmond market place has plenty of cafes and pubs, for bite to eat and a refreshing drink.
