Whorlton Suspension Bridge

This bridge is now closed to all with no way of crossing because of high fences. It will be closed for at least another year. Quite a pain for us in Barnard Castle as this is the best and quietest way to go east

The South Park Cafe in Darlington has a history dating back to at least 1908, when it operated as the South Park Teahouse. The current cafe building is located near the park's historic clock tower and has been a fixture in the community for over a century.

There’s a fab tea room and general store in Eppleby village. Very cycle friendly with a track pump in the doorway!
