On February 4, 1912, Jan Łożański was born in Posada Zarszyńska near Sanok. During the occupation, under the pseudonyms "Orzeł" (Eagle), "Bokser" (Boxer), and "Jan Madejski", he served as a courier for the Main Command of the Union of Armed Struggle and the Home Army. For his activities, he spent several years in prison after the war, and during the war, the Germans murdered his sister Irena. Jan Łożański later became one of the legendary couriers. After a two-week specialized course, Łożański was tasked with creating a permanent courier route between Budapest and Warsaw. As it turned out, he traversed the "Jaga" route, which led through the Lower Beskids and Bieszczady Mountains, with Nowosielce as its most important stopover point, 45 times, which is a unique record among couriers. He carried secret correspondence, weapons, photographs, and sometimes escorted people. Walking along Bony Street beneath the Royal Castle towards Sanowa Street and the newly constructed bridge over the San River, on the left you'll pass a corner plot with a group of old trees. The area is fenced and inaccessible, but the trees are clearly visible. Bony Street is relatively new, so the plot in question belongs to Rybacka Street, which is invisible from here and runs beneath the Orthodox church and ends in a dead-end. More details are provided by the Central Register of Forms of Nature Conservation (excerpts below). "Data Form for a Natural Monument 1. General Data Name no name assigned Description Three small-leaved lime trees. In the 1970s and 1980s, a housing estate was built between Śródmieście Sanok and the San River - a block of four-story buildings. The axes of this estate are Jana Pawła II Street and Traugutta Street. The first one is straight and straight, and the second one winds with gentle curves. At ul. A chapel was built near the Traugutt intersection. On May evenings, residents of nearby blocks gather there, praying together and singing Marian songs.

One of the most spectacular places in the Słonne Mountains near Sanok. Worth a visit, especially in good weather - then we can admire a beautiful view of Sanok and the surrounding area. Between the viewpoint and the Eagle Stone there is a tourist shelter - comfortable and well-maintained.
