However, seeing the former magnificent building from the outside is an experience in itself. Kazimierczak doesn't skimp, he splurges and builds a ballroom and a huge swimming pool for his own castle. The artist works on his home for seven years until construction is finally halted. This has two reasons: First, the authorities noticed that Kazimierczak had simply appropriated land that did not belong to him. And ultimately, the builder simply ran out of money to continue working on his dream.

The castle was to have 365 windows, 52 rooms, and twelve towers. Construction began in 1984, but after seven years it was halted because he only had a building permit for a building one-sixth the size, and apparently, the money also ran out.
