This is where the border between 🇩🇪 Bavaria and 🇱🇻 Tyrol runs.

The Mädelejoch is at 1,973 m. The ascent from the Kemptener Hütte took about 30 minutes.

Better weather next time please. 👍🏼

Stop at 2,009 meters above sea level, enjoy the view and - if you come from the Spullersee - look forward to the descent towards Lech. From now on it's going downhill. ;-)

Stierlochjoch (2.009 m) A scenic pass above Lech. Wide mountain panoramas, fresh alpine air, and a perfect spot for a short break in the middle of the flow.

It's beautiful up here. When I was up here, I was able to not only enjoy the impressive mountain panorama, but also watch the marmots that make their homes here in considerable numbers. I chose the much easier climb over Lake Spullersee; the other side is so steep that it requires full concentration when descending, as the loose gravel can quickly become slippery, and you have to constantly apply both brakes firmly but carefully. The view down into the deeply cut valley is simply beautiful.

The hut is maintained by the German Alpine Club (DAV) Leutkirch section, as is the nearby Leutkircher Hut. Given increasing hygiene and environmental requirements, which normally require significant investments, this is a great honor.

Easy to ride road over the Stierlochjoch from Spullersee to Lech am Arlberg and finally without asphalt!

The Schrofenpass has some visually dramatic spots, but if you walk carefully it is actually not dangerous. There is a rope in places where there is a risk of falling.

The Kaiserjochhaus is located at an altitude of 2,310 meters on the Kaiserjoch, a pass between the Lechtal and Stanzer Tal in the Lechtal Alps. The hut is very cozy, there is a warming tiled stove in the middle of the dining room. The food is very tasty. 😋
