The park has a network of singletrack trails for hiking and mountain biking, which wind through the woods by the disc golf course. There is a little pavilion and water bottle refill station by the parking lot.

From this viewpoint, on the western shore of the Big Sioux River, you are below the falls and therefore get a very different perspective than from the other side.

The Falls Park is a big movie theater and definitely worth the long journey. It is beautifully located in the heart of the city, sprawling and within easy walking distance. In any case, do not miss the lookout tower at the Visitor Center ... You should plan at least 1h time. It is great in the evening around 21:30 (we were here in July) to come back again, then the cases are still great illuminated.
