Following over five years of dedicated advocacy and fundraising efforts, the Hollow Oak Land Trust, based in Moon Township, has successfully acquired four parcels of pristine greenspace known as Vinegar Hollow in Kilbuck Township, Allegheny County. Accessible to the public via a trailhead on Center Avenue in Ben Avon, visitors can explore over 2 miles of scenic trails. Additionally, Hollow Oak plans to collaborate with community members and volunteers to enhance and expand the trail network within this expansive 46-acre area.
