One of the few churches I have visited in Denmark that does not have a traditional sailing ship hanging in the nave.

Top bike shop with excellent equipment and great advice. They even went to the trouble of fixing a derailleur hanger after a chain jam, so I could continue riding during my vacation without having to wait for a new part. I haven't yet followed their advice to replace the hanger immediately after returning home, and it's still working perfectly. Very clean work indeed... 😉 More information here: https://birksbikeshop.dk/ If I remember correctly, you can still find pictures of the interior from the old location at Fuglsigvej 58, which I visited. Therefore, the picture of the exterior is no longer accurate. On my next visit to Vendsyssel, I'll definitely check out the new location at Farøvej 1E, as there aren't even any current pictures online of the part of the building that the bike pros at Birks Bike Shop have taken over....

The large lake is very pretty, the others (towards the beach) are unfortunately overgrown (July '25).

A wonderful museum. A rare opportunity (at least, I don't know of any other) to see a live sunfish. However, the one that disappeared in February is just being replaced.
