This park features an indoor recreation center, a playground, a basketball court, shuffleboard courts, an open field, three pickleball courts, a tennis court, picnic tables, and restrooms. A nice path takes you around the area, offering beautiful views of Sarasota Bay.

This park boasts many features, including a skate park, a Disc Golf course, an amphitheater, a rock climbing wall, a splash pad, and a playground. A nice paved path encircles the park, with benches along the way, making it a pleasant place to take a break.

This trail extends around 18.5 miles and connects the towns of Sarasota and Venice. It’s nicely paved and popular among hikers, runners, and bikers. This section takes you through the heart of Oscar Scherer State Park, offering a pleasant route through a nicely forested area. This area is a habitat for the threatened Gopher Tortoises, so be careful as you run. Bayfront Park Recreation Center is a small park with great views of Sarasota Bay. This park has an indoor recreation center, a playground, a basketball court, shuffleboard courts, an open field, three pickleball courts, a tennis court, picnic tables, restrooms, and parking for public beach access across the road. It's a great family-friendly park and a nice stop to refresh on a ride.
