The trail literally begins here. There's a picnic area tucked into a cave to the left of the waterfall. It's worth a visit. When I went, there was a lot of water falling.

Early September 2024 - no water at all in the Rio, no waterfalls, no pools. Everything is dry.

One of the emblematic sites of Cortes de Pallas in a wonderful setting with lots of trees and nature. It is a recreational area with a swimming area and a waterfall, a true paradise all year round but especially on hot days it is an ideal place to spend the day and cool off!

It is an interesting and very striking cave a few meters from the Cortes stream. The story tells that a person who cared for and herded his goats lived there for a long time. It is a very picturesque and very quiet place.
