Traunhaft beautiful. Bicycle tour from Stade via Apensen to Stade through the lower Estetal. So much beautiful nature and the cycle paths are also manageable, from time to time it gets a bit uneven but it is doable. A short section runs directly along the road. Great resting places are available on the route. E.g. at the fishing water of Horneburg in the lower Estetal. There the place is dedicated to the North German poet: Johann D. Bellmann *08.05.1930 - 25.06.2006

In the Estetal Nature Reserve, the Este River winds its way along enchanting paths toward the Elbe. It's wonderful to be able to watch it in some places.

Even though they are always nice to look at in the enclosure, they later end up on the plate.
