Sie bildet landschaftlich das ab, was die Gegend hier am meisten auszeichnet: Felder und moorige Flussläufe, außerdem passiert man zwei Ortschaften und den Gedenkort an Général Faidherbe und die „Schlacht an der Hallue“ im Deutsch-Französischen Krieg 1870.
