Running

This route is not the most complex, with a reasonable elevation/distance ratio and wide passable paths over most of the route. No need to take out the poles, here it will be mainly the running that will have to be worked on.

A first short climb towards the Grand Alhan allows you to wake up your muscles before attacking the Climont, omnipresent during this outing. Its climb will be the only technical part, over approximately two kilometers. The path that leads there is simply magnificent. Narrow and often forested, it provides an incredible feeling of domination over the valley when the view is clear. Once you arrive at the summit, take the time to climb the tower to contemplate the summit of the entire massif in 360 degrees.

The rest is just downhill, but be careful, seven kilometers of rolling path can sometimes seem very long if you haven't kept your strength up. No more technical trails or joint-relieving climbs, you'll have to run to the end. After all, isn’t the basis of trail running running?

A tough and technical climb, with slopes that can exceed 25% in some parts. When the forest thins out, the adrenaline takes over and sublimates the landscapes of the valley.
